Shaftesbury Car Link offers transport services to the people of Shaftesbury and the surrounding villages in the SP7 area. Priority will be given to those who need to attend a medical/hospital appointment. Social events can be accommodated subject to availability.. Our volunteers and coordinators will take you to your desired destination in our wheelchair accessible vehicle or in their own car. Please advise us on booking if you have any walking aids or require assistance.

Our volunteers use their own cars
To join our scheme as a user you will be asked to pay an annual membership fee of £10 (£15 if more than one person in the household). As our organisation is run by volunteers who use their own cars, we ask for a donation of 60p per mile from the driver's address (subject to a minimum of £5). We have a wheelchair assisted vehicle. Bookings for all trips MUST be made in advance, with as much notice as possible, please. Contact us for details.

We would ask that, where possible, wheelchair users are attended by a family member or carer.

Medical trips such as visits to the :

- Doctor
- Dentist
- Optician
- Chiropodist
Non-medical trips such as trips to the Hairdresser, Vet, Shopping and Social are subject to availablility. MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS ALWAYS TAKE PRIORITY.
